We’re so excited you’re here! Thank you for joining our mission to care for animals in need. Let’s get you started in just a few simple steps:

Step 1: Set Up Your Volunteer Account

Go to: fchs.galaxydigital.com

  • Click “Sign Up” in the top right corner
  • Fill in your contact info and interests
  • Agree to the waiver and consent forms
  • Check your email and confirm your account

 Step 2: Attend Orientation

Attend our in person Orientation the first Sunday of the month.

Learn about procedures, safety, and expectations

Ask questions anytime. We’re here to help!


Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Log in to your account and head to your profile settings:

  • Add your availability and skills
  • Upload a profile picture to make it yours

Step 4: Find and Sign Up for Opportunities

  • Browse volunteer opportunities on your dashboard
  • Use filters to find what fits your schedule and interests
  • Click “Sign Up” or “Respond” to get involved
  • Watch for follow-up instructions

Step 5: Volunteer & Track Your Hours

Notice something about a pet or equipment? Let us know!

  • Need help logging in your first day? Arrive on time and check in at the kiosk
  • Grab your color-coded volunteer badge
  • Follow the role description on your badge or ask staff if you’re needed elsewhere
  • After your shift, log your hours in your profile

  • Get updates on new opportunities and events
  • Share feedback to help us improve
  • Spread the word invite friends to volunteer too!
